Basketball Recap: Blaine Comes Up Short

Blaine lost against Bellingham back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blaine Borderites were dealt an 83-41 defeat at the hands of the Bellingham Bayhawks. The Borderites have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blaine's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bellingham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Blaine will head out on the road to challenge Sehome at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bellingham, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Mt. Baker at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Baker knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Bellingham likes a good challenge.
