Softball Recap: Fort Scott Takes a Loss

Fort Scott lost against Pittsburg last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one run.

Fort Scott now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pittsburg, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Fort Scott will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Frontenac at 3:30 p.m. on May 12. As for Pittsburg, they have already played their next contest, a 34-1 win against Field Kindley on the 21st.
