Armstrong had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They snuck past the Manteno Panthers with a 62-57 victory.

Armstrong's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Manteno, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-10 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Armstrong will head out to square off against Watseka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Armstrong is facing Watseka at the right time seeing as Watseka is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Manteno, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Manteno Panthers duke it out with the Lisle Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
