Volleyball Recap: Rappahannock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Colonial Beach on Tuesday, Rappahannock came back down to earth. The Raiders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancaster Red Devils on Thursday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

While Rappahannock ultimately came up short, they really made Lancaster work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 27-25, 25-16.

Rappahannock has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Lancaster, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Coming up, Rappahannock will square off against Manassas Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lancaster, they will face off against Essex at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
