Volleyball Recap: Eleanor Kinder Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Notre Dame + How To Watch

Menlo School won the last time they faced Notre Dame and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights blew past the Regents 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Menlo School took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-8.

Menlo School got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eleanor Kinder out in front who had six aces and four digs. Those six aces gave Kinder a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jamie Johnson, who had seven digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Menlo School was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 21 consecutive matches.

Menlo School has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-17 record this season. As for Notre Dame, they dropped their record down to 5-22 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Menlo School nor the Regents have any future games scheduled.
