Soccer Recap: Monticello's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Monticello kept a clean sheet against Louisa County on Thursday. They blew past the Lions 5-0. It was an even better day for Grayson Davis as he scored three goals for his team.

The win keeps Monticello at an undefeated 4-0-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Louisa County, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Monticello will head out to square off against Charlottesville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Charlottesville's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Monticello's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Louisa County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fluvanna County at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
