Basketball Recap: Columbia Central Comes Up Short

Columbia Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 55-27 defeat at the hands of the Summit Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-36 last Tuesday.

Columbia Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Summit, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.

Coming up, Columbia Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Summit, they will challenge Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
