Football Recap: Pine-Richland Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Pine-Richland came tearing into Friday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-17 victory over the Shaler Area Titans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rams' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Titans are ranked 202nd).

Pine-Richland was led to victory by AARON STRADER and BO HECKERT. STRADER threw for 196 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.2% of his passes, while HECKERT rushed for 102 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries. STRADER is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. KHALIL TAYLOR was another key player, picking up 58 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pine-Richland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Pine-Richland's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Shaler Area, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.
