Football Game Preview: Lafayette Generals vs. Henry Clay Blue Devils + How To Watch

Lafayette is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. After each having a week off, they and the Henry Clay Blue Devils will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Lafayette's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They breezed past East Jessamine to the tune of 38-0. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Henry Clay, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They claimed a resounding 46-8 win over North Bullitt. The Blue Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Henry Clay's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Lafayette, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Lafayette was able to grind out a solid victory over Henry Clay in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 20-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Generals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
