Softball Recap: Aiken Fighting Green Hornets vs. North Augusta Yellow Jackets
Aiken was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They suffered a rough 9-1 defeat at the hands of the North Augusta Yellow Jackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Aiken of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.
For North Augusta's part, Eleanor Brummond was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk).
