With a playoff win on the line, Mountain View rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Cibola Raiders by a score of 7-4. The win continues a trend for the Toros in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.
Daniella Gloria looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Abbie Cameron was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Kylynn Sylvester was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
