Ballantyne Ridge kept a clean sheet against Palisades on Tuesday. They blew past the Pumas 9-0. Ballantyne Ridge's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Their offense was hitting Palisades from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Julia Freeman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win got Ballantyne Ridge back to even at 10-10. As for Palisades, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ballantyne Ridge will host South Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Mecklenburg will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Ballantyne Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Palisades, they will face off against Ardrey Kell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
