Soccer Recap: Navasota Comes Up Short

Navasota lost against Brazosport back in April of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Brazosport Exporters who were credited with the victory. The Brazosport Exporters got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Navasota Rattlers' two.

Navasota's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Brazosport, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Navasota will take on Bellville in a tournament on Saturday. Navasota's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Brazosport, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cypress Park at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
