Jayse Alvarado gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March of 2024 on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Three Rivers is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise.

Coming up, Alvarado and Three Rivers will face off against Refugio at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Alvarado had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game last Thursday 8-1. Could another big game from him be enough to change the outcome this time?
