South Lenoir won the last time they faced Wallace-Rose Hill and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bulldogs 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Devils have posted since March 28th.

South Lenoir has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11.
