Volleyball Recap: Gold Beach Comes Up Short

If Gold Beach was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central Linn last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Myrtle Point Bobcats on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Gold Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Myrtle Point, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Gold Beach will head out to challenge Oakland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Myrtle Point, they will welcome Lost River at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
