Basketball Recap: Twin Valley Takes a Loss

Twin Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Grundy Golden Wave, falling 72-31. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 59-33 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Twin Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Grundy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Twin Valley has already played their next contest (against East Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grundy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ridgeview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ridgeview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Grundy likes a good challenge.
