Volleyball Recap: Whitehall Vikings vs. Fremont Packers
Whitehall lost against Fremont back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings came up short against the Packers, falling 3-0.
Whitehall was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-22.
Their offense was headlined by Braelee Fogus and Clare Westerlund, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Annaliegh Mulder and her 11 assists. Mayson Milliron and Peyton Schultz kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Whitehall has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-25 record this season. As for Fremont, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 30-8.
