Volleyball Recap: Owen-Withee Takes a Loss

Owen-Withee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Colby Hornets. The Blackhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Owen-Withee couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Colby a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 33-31, 25-16, 20-25, 25-18.

Owen-Withee's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Colby, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Owen-Withee will take on rival Spencer at 7:15 p.m. on the 9th. Meanwhile, Colby is set to square off against their familiar foe Loyal at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
