Basketball Game Preview: Sandburg Eagles vs. Lockport Porters

Sandburg is on a nine-game streak of home wins, while Lockport is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Sandburg Eagles will welcome the Lockport Porters at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Sandburg was able to grind out a solid win over Oak Lawn, taking the game 54-41. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Lockport made easy work of Morris on Thursday and carried off a 67-46 win. The Porters have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Lockport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season. As for Sandburg, their victory bumped their record up to 23-7.
