Northwest Yeshiva triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Paulina Gamel

Recap: Northwest Yeshiva Lions vs. Summit Classical Christian School Archers

The Northwest Yeshiva Lions won the last time they faced the Summit Classical Christian School Archers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Northwest Yeshiva walked away with a 35-22 win over Summit Classical Christian School. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northwest Yeshiva.

Paulina Gamel was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Northwest Yeshiva's points. Jenna Kaufthal was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Northwest Yeshiva has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Summit Classical Christian School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.

Northwest Yeshiva will head out on the road to square off against Evergreen Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Evergreen Lutheran: 29.7, Northwest Yeshiva: 28.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Summit Classical Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
