Farmville Central picks up ninth straight win on the road

Recap: Farmville Central Jaguars vs. Northern Nash Knights

The Farmville Central Jaguars put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Northern Nash with a sharp 82-57 win. Fans of Farmville Central have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Farmville Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than JD Daniels, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Daniels set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Another player making a difference was Mykal "MJ" Williams, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and three steals.

Northern Nash's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Randall King, who scored 15 points. Izeal Mallory was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Farmville Central pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.2 points per game. As for Northern Nash, their loss ended an 18-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmville Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. As for Northern Nash, they will take on D.H. Conley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. D.H. Conley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 430th, while Northern Nash is ranked 160th).
