Baseball Recap: Malone Comes Up Short

If Malone was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Graceville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers on Wednesday, falling 11-1.

Malone saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hoke Harkrider, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Malone's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11. As for North Bay Haven Academy, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Coming up, Malone will welcome Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pensacola will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Malone surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will take on Rutherford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
