Son of five-time Pro Bowler emerging as one of the best running backs in Florida.

Frank Gore Jr. is entering his senior season with big shoes to fill.

His father, Frank Gore, is one of the best running backs in NFL history — a five-time Pro Bowl running back who won a BCS National Championship at the University of Miami during his freshman season. He ranks fourth all-time in career rushing yards (14,748) and is the only running back in NFL history to record 1,200-plus yards from scrimmage 12 consecutive seasons. And he is getting ready to enter his 15th season next year.

So far Frank Gore Jr., the 3-star running back from Killian (Miami), has landed five FBS offers that include Kentucky, Florida Atlantic, the University of Buffalo, Chattanooga and Southern Miss. Expect more offers to come in for the talented Florida back.

His highlight tape shows he can do it all. He has big-time speed, vision, can run up the middle, bounce it outside, and is a superb receiver, too. Gore Jr. had a monster junior campaign and expect and even bigger senior season for one of the most underrated players in high school football.
