After a string of four wins, Orleans's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Brownstown Central Braves by a score of 59-56. The contest was a 32-32 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

When it comes to explaining why Orleans lost, don't look at Rylan Crocker. Despite the final result, he shot 56% from the field to rack up 28 points. Bryce Jones was another key player, putting up four points and eight assists.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 18-4. As for Brownstown Central, their win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2.

Looking ahead, Orleans will take on Medora at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brownstown Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
