Vero Beach beats Martin County for their fourth straight win

The Vero Beach Indians had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on Martin County with a sharp 28-3 win. The result was nothing new for Vero Beach, who have now won five contests by 25 points or more so far this season.
Vero Beach found their leader in underclassman Jonathan Hillsman, who gained 102 total yards and a touchdown. Elijah Anderson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Vero Beach's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Martin County, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3.
Vero Beach will head out on the road to face off against Treasure Coast at 7:00 p.m. on October 28th. Treasure Coast will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Martin County will take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
