Baseball Recap: Gray's Creek Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oscar Smith last Saturday, Gray's Creek came back down to earth. The Bears fell just short of the Terry Sanford Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Gray's Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Terry Sanford, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gray's Creek will take on Jack Britt at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Terry Sanford, they will face off against D.H. Conley at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
