Game recap: Grayson keeps working in win over Central Gwinnett

Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) put an additional 10 points on the board on top of its 42-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, Ga.) 52-0.

The Rams were up 42-0 at the half after taking the lead on a David Fennell touchdown run in the first quarter.

Grayson's most effective player was Alex Louthan. The senior kicked one field goal and seven extra points.

Led by Robert Nkemdiche, GHS went into the matchup giving up only 14.2 points per game. The zero points that the Black Knights ended with were well below their average of 30.8 coming into the game.

A 22-0 Grayson victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.



With the win the Rams extended their winning streak to three games.

Grayson (5-1) goes up against Berkmar in a AAAAAA Region 8 game matchup next week, while Central Gwinnett (3-2) locks horns with Archer in a non-conference game.
