Badger entered their tilt with Kenosha Tremper on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 5-1. The Badgers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Addison Kurtz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Miah Butinas, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Claire Polyock was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Badger kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kenosha Tremper only managed four.

Badger's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Kenosha Tremper, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Badger will head out to take on Elkhorn at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kenosha Tremper, they will be playing at home against Greendale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
