Brewer had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Cony on Friday. The Witches were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Wednesday.

Brewer walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Brewer has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Cony, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Brewer will square off against Ellsworth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cony, they will challenge Hampden at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
