Soccer Game Preview: Midlothian vs. Monacan

The Midlothian Trojans will face off against the Monacan Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Midlothian will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Midlothian barely beat Clover Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Midlothian blew past Clover Hill 5-2 on Tuesday. Considering Midlothian have won three matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Clover Hill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Will Richter (2), Lance Yeboah (2), and Lucas Frazier.

Meanwhile, Monacan didn't have quite enough to beat Cosby on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Midlothian pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Monacan, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

Midlothian beat Monacan by a goal when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 2-1. Does Midlothian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Monacan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
