Softball Recap: Mount Juliet Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Mount Juliet Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Mount Juliet Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

Looking ahead, Mount Juliet Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Goodpasture Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Goodpasture Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christ Presbyterian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
