Considering the Owls have won four games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, New Designs Watts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Animo Pat Brown, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1214th, while the Gryphons are ranked 334th).

WISH Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-3. As for New Designs Watts, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went WISH Academy's way against New Designs Watts when the teams last played back in January, as WISH Academy made off with a 15-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for WISH Academy since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
