Southington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 64-49 victory over the Ridgefield Tigers on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Blue Knights as they're now sitting on 20 straight.

Hannah Blanchard continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7-for-14 on her way to 17 points and seven rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Lily Cooper was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 12 points and six assists.

Southington's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-1. As for Ridgefield, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-4.
