Fort Mill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 27-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nation Ford Falcons . Nation Ford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Ameo out in front who picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 63 yards. Patience Andrews was another key back, rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Fort Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Nation Ford, they moved to 2-8 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.
