Basketball Game Preview: South Shore International Tars vs. Universal Stars

The South Shore International Tars will challenge the Universal Stars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

South Shore International is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Pritzker 79-38. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Universal entered their tilt with Hinsdale Adventist Academy on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Hurricanes 56-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Stars have posted since January 19, 2024.

South Shore International's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Universal, their victory bumped their record up to 3-15.
