Recap: Parkland Mustangs vs. Reagan Raiders
The Parkland Mustangs were the 62-55 winner over the Reagan Raiders when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Parkland fell just short of Reagan by a score of 53-51. Parkland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
SaMaurie Moses and Joshua Moore certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Moses scored 14 points along with three steals, while Moore dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Moore hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 14 straight games. Brock Jackson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Parkland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Reagan, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Parkland will take on Davie at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Davie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 253 points over their last four matches. As for Reagan, they will head out on the road to take on Mount Tabor at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Reagan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Mount Tabor is ranked 18th).
