Baseball Recap: Hemphill's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Hemphill suffered their closest loss since February 28th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Groveton Indians by a score of 4-2. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Hemphill's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-10. As for Groveton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Looking ahead, Hemphill will challenge Many at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Groveton, they will face off against Colmesneil at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
