Basketball Recap: Keenan Skates Past Silver Bluff with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Keenan's strategy against Silver Bluff on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Keenan Raiders blew the Silver Bluff Bulldogs out of the water with a 62-14 final score. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Keenan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tiana Randall, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave Randall a new career-high in field goal percentage (78%). Taelor Lee-Sutton was another key player, going 7-for-12 en route to 16 points and six steals.

Keenan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in eight consecutive contests.

Keenan's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Silver Bluff, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, Keenan and Silver Bluff will both be playing Fox Creek the next time they take the court. Keenan will head out to face Fox Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Silver Bluff will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
