Volleyball Game Preview: Morton Potters vs. Lincoln Railsplitters

The Morton Potters will venture away from home to face off against the Lincoln Railsplitters at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morton will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Morton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Springfield Southeast by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Lincoln beat MacArthur 2-0 on Tuesday. The Railsplitters haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Lincoln easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 21-15. As for Morton, their win bumped their record up to 31-3.

Morton came out on top in a nail-biter against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Potters repeat their success, or do the Railsplitters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
