With a playoff win on the line, Lafayette Central Catholic rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed by the Riverton Parke Panthers to the tune of 62-21. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Riverton Parke's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corinne Loomis, who posted six points.

The win (which was Lafayette Central Catholic's ninth in a row) raised their record to 21-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.1 points. As for Riverton Parke, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Lafayette Central Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-30 victory against Fountain Central on the 8th. Riverton Parke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
