Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the DeKalb Barons as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cadets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Barons, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-17.

Keira Dommer was the offensive standout of the match as she had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Dommer wasn't the only good server: Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran now has a winning record of 7-6. As for DeKalb, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Portage on the 13th. As for DeKalb, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Fort Wayne Snider on the 15th.
