Football Recap: St. Augustine Prep Has No Trouble Against Paul VI

St. Augustine Prep got themselves on the board against Paul VI on Friday, but Paul VI never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 26-0 margin over the Eagles. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hermits had established a 20-point advantage.

St. Augustine Prep has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points this season. As for Paul VI, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

St. Augustine Prep and Paul VI will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hermits will challenge rival Cherokee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Paul VI is set to face off against their familiar foe Gloucester City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
