Soccer Recap: Spanaway Lake Comes Up Short

Spanaway Lake was the 2-1 winner over Bonney Lake when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sentinels fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Spanaway Lake's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Bonney Lake, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-7-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spanaway Lake will head out to square off against Sumner at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sumner will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last. As for Bonney Lake, they will head out on the road to challenge Rogers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bonney Lake will be up against Rogers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.55 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
