Soccer Recap: Somerset Academy South Homestead Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Somerset Academy South Homestead has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2021.

Their goal came courtesy of Sage Woods, who's now up to five this season.

Somerset Academy South Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somerset Academy South Homestead will host Archbishop Carroll at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, they will welcome Palmer Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
