Baseball Game Preview: Woodward Polar Bears vs. Rogers Rams

Woodward is 2-8 against Rogers since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Polar Bears will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Woodward is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against Waite on Monday, falling 17-7. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Meanwhile, Rogers fell victim to Bowsher and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the BlueRacers. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Woodward suffered a grim 23-3 defeat to Rogers in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Polar Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
