Soccer Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Notre Dame lost against Walker Valley back in August of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fighting Irish fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Notre Dame have lost by just one goal.

Alanah McDonald and Saylor Schalk scored both of Notre Dame's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Notre Dame and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Walker Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-2 record this season.

Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walker Valley, they will square off against Rhea County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
