Olmsted Falls waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Steele Comets, posting a 67-12 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Comets are ranked 553rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Olmsted Falls has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Steele, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-16.

Olmsted Falls will take on Avon Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Avon Lake is on a eight-game streak of home wins, Olmsted Falls a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Steele, they will face off against Elyria at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Steele is facing Elyria at the right time seeing as Elyria is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
