If Gateway Tech wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience, they should've done a better job of containing Dylan Nguyen. The Owls narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Jaguars 3-2 with plenty of help from Nguyen, who had 22 digs and two assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Gateway Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
