On FridayHutto kept up with Vista Ridge until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Vista Ridge Rangers were the clear victor by a 6-2 margin over the Hutto Hippos. Considering the Rangers have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Vista Ridge's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four games. As for Hutto, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-6-3 record this season.

Coming up, Vista Ridge will host Round Rock Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Vista Ridge has won six straight at home, while Round Rock Westwood won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Hutto, they will head out to face off against McNeil at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McNeil's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
